Lester Zuckerman, MD

Dr. Lester Zuckerman, is a nationally recognized leader in pain management. He completed an Anesthesiology Residency and Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. He then joined the staff at the hospital of The University of Pennsylvania as an instructor in Anesthesiology and Pain management as part of its residency and fellowship programs.
In 1998 Dr. Zuckerman co-founded National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC). Serving as a member of NSPC’s Board of Directors, and the practice’s Chief Medical Officer, the company grew to become the nation’s largest interventional pain management practice. NSPC delivered services in 8 states with nearly 200 clinicians seeing nearly 1M patients annually. Through two successful PE co-investments and exits the company achieved an EV of over 400M. He has also held posts as the Director for The Center for Pain Management at Englewood Hospital (New Jersey) and the Director of Pain Management Services for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital (Philadelphia, PA). A seasoned pain management specialist with 20 years of experience, his contribution the specialty of Pain Management and approach to patient care have regularly merited peer recognition. An advocate for continuing education, Dr. Zuckerman dedicates considerable time to exploring advances in pain management techniques and emerging therapies. He has been published in top-tier professional journals and has lectured to peers and the public on the diagnosis and treatment of pain syndromes. |

He/She has recent experience of establishing a European organization to launch a new drug. Dr. Giles is an internationally recognized pharmacologist and an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, Texas.
